You'll want to bookmark this helpful resource - how-to-guides, app notes, and column selection advice all in one place!
Hello again! This week I want to share another great resource with you. Webinars are a great way to get an introduction to a topic or the tools available for a certain application. But eventually you may need to get into more detailed methods and examples of how to do various experiments. That’s where something like an Applications Compendium can be helpful.
We’ve put together an Applications Compendium focused on biopharma applications, where the Application Notes are grouped according to the major types of critical quality attributes (CQAs) or process monitoring. There are chapters on:
- Titer determination
- Intact and subunit protein purity
- Peptide mapping
- Amino acid and cell culture analysis
- Glycan analysis
- Aggregate and fragment analysis
- Charge variant analysis
And in case you think we just stapled a bunch of Application Notes together, we didn’t! Each chapter has an introduction with some background on what challenges come up when analyzing that type of CQA, the columns Agilent offers, and pointers on where to start your method development. Many chapters have “how to” guides that cover things like sample preparation, suggested methods, and instrument configurations. And you know I love practical tips, so there’s a section on best practices and troubleshooting at the end.
Check out our Critical Quality Attributes Application Compendium here!
P.S. My teammate Andy and I spent a TON of time curating Application Notes, writing introductions, and proof reading, so please take a look!
