If the software used with Seahorse analyzers displays a “tray move” error, this document can be used to help troubleshoot.
Here is a list of the most common causes for this error:
- Software crash
- User error: two cartridges may be loaded in the instrument at the same time (rare)
- A hardware component could have become damaged
Try these steps for a possible resolution:
- Completely restart system (both analyzer and controller)
- Open analyzer cover to look inside to ensure that cartridge is not stuck in instrument. If there are two cartridges present, contact Cell Analysis Technical Support (see info below).
