What should you consider before your system arrives?
- How big are the crates that will arrive?
- Make sure that there is space to store the shipping crates. The crates are huge because they include many boxes: GC, computer, and peripherals, MS, pumps, etc.
- The boxes are in the way, may I open them?
- Do not open any boxes. All boxes should remain unopened as received from Agilent.
- Is there access to the lab from the receiving location?
- It is easiest if the crates are brought as close to the lab bench as possible before the installer arrives.
- Has the lab met Health, Safety, and Security requirements?
- Are there any restrictions to site access for the installer?
- Is there open, clear, empty bench space, around, behind, and above where the instrument will be installed? Will the bench support the maximum system weight plus a safety margin?
