Hello taub .
I think it's a corner case issue and you need a support visit from agilent authorized engineer so please request a service visit as its seems that the error is hidden and not straight forward as you mentioned that you changed alot of things…
Good Day.
I have an issue to my result in tcd. My Sample is TOGA using Fid and tcd. now the issue is the detection of H2, N2 and O2 are late. before 4.2 min. now its 6.2. the column is new.
This instrument is used mostly for FID analyses and the second injector is not working. That's the primary reason why the column will be disconnected most of the time. Also to reduce contamination of the ECD, but it sounds like that isn't a huge concern…
We need to use air generator for 8 GCs with FID Detector. Each FID uses 350 mL/min air. So for 8 FID, 2.8L air will be sufficient? Is it ok to go for an air generator that supply 3L of air/min or we need to go for a higher option? Kindly advise
Hi Abdul,
From the picture, it appears your FID flame was extinguished. You can put a metal wrench or a mirror at the top of the detector to see if the exhaust contains moisture from the combustion, but a flat baseline at zero output usually means the…
Thank you for the reply, I will have a go at it tomorrow. So essentially I just need to change one of my internal standard compounds to a normal compound, and use that as a single point calibration? It just seemed logical that every internal standard…
Hi guys, when I tried to run my sequence in GC-FID, the workstation showed "front injectors not detected", and under my method, the configuration showed no injectors. However, the parameters I entered for injection could be found in the GC (7890A) operation…
Hi
I am trying to install the G7201D version of ICP MassHunter on a 1909 Windows 10 laptop.
It goes through the initial process and then errors with a code of 0xe0434352.
Some additional research implies this is a .Net error but a repair install…
Hi everyone
In my company recently we update the Openlab Ezchrom to CDS 2,5.
We have a GC 7820A and when we analyzed Residual dissolvents we have a trouble because between 3 to 5 minutes the detector (FID) get shutdown and this signal of shutdown…
I have Open Lab CDS Chemstation Edition for GC systems and 7890A with FID. I get in vial concentration of an analyte in a sample from calibration curve as ppm. Need to generate an Intelligent report, I get concentration in sample (with Sample weight,…
