As seen in EA versions of Chemstation, when a data file is corrupt and data analysis has a problem starting gives the error message
'No MS Data found'
Data Analysis will not open.
Changing the file name to a default file such as Evaldemo.d will correct the problem. Or you can just rename files.val to files.org and it will rebuild it.
Locate the data path for evaldemo.d for example,
d:\masshunter\gcms\data\evaldemo.d
Locate the files.val file
c:\masshunter\gcms\1
[last files]
data1=D:\data\20140707\001SP0001.D
shortdata1=001SP0001.D
data2=D:\data\5977-1_002.D
shortdata2=5977-1_002.D
data3=D:\data\5977-1_001.D
shortdata3=5977-1_001.D
point the path to evaldemo.d
[last files]
data1=D:\data\evaldemo.d
shortdata1=evaldemo.d
data2=D:\data\evaldemo.d
shortdata2=evaldemo.d
data3=D:\data\evaldemo.d
shortdata=evaldemo.d
save and restart data analysis.
Or point to the directory path where evaldemo.d exists.
