In this presentation Shannon Coleman discusses the Analysis of Ammonia in PEM Fuel Cell Grade D Hydrogen. This is an analysis required by ISO 14687 for specification of the limit of ammonia in Grade D or PEM hydrogen. The analysis is done ...
This is a discussion with Rob Dejong, Agilent's Micro GC Product Manager. We discuss hydrogen energy and how the Micro GC can be used to analyze hydrogen fuel blended with natural gas. Hydrogen energy is an exciting topic as it is a big p...
The Agilent GC liner isolates the sample-flow path from the metal walls of the injector block. Variable GC inlet liner geometry and packing materials characterize sample volatilization. Proper inlet liner selection is crucial to ensure all analytes of interest are rapidly vaporized and transferred to the analytical column without unanticipated interactions or degradation resulting in inlet discrimination.
The new electronic pneumatic control (EPC) adapter works with the Agilent 8890, 8860, and Intuvo 9000 GCs. If needed, the adapter should be shipped with a new EPC module.
If your 8890/8860/9000 GC or EPC was purchased before November 2020, it is likely fitted with the legacy adapter. If a new EPC was purchased after November 2020, it will be shipped with both adapters to fit the needs of any 8890/8860/9000 GC. This video…
Ferrules and connectors for GC allow end users to fully customize their instrument and flow-path to meet their unique analytical needs. Minor leaks within the sample flow path can be detrimental to instrument performance, resulting in variable retention times, elevated background noise, column bleed, tailing peaks, and inlet discrimination.
