Hello, To cut to the chase: No, peak areas calculated in MassHunter will not be equal to the peak areas calculated in GC/OpenLAB ChemStation software. GC ChemStation and OpenLAB ChemStation use response units of pA for FID data whereas the response axis…
Hi, My method for 6890 GC/FID has a warning message that there are overlapping integrations for some of the compounds, I would like to correct this but unsure how, I know the answer lies in the integration events table. Any help is appreciated!
Hello
I recommend to replace X-belt.
P/N 5410047500 Belt timing – 880 mm

Hi emilymorin ,
I'm glad you found a solution that works for your data sets. I have continued to investigate this issue, but your solution does not work for all of the data sets I have tested with. I suspect disabling the save file feature may work…
Thanks! To add, I just ran the software verification tool and the MassHunter GCMSAcq_base.xml report failed. File Report Summary

I was never able to do glycols via headspsce in the past. The only way I was able to do them was direct injection and FID. 5890 using megabore column. Maybe you could try SPME.
Hi there! We have a Cary 60. We are doing preventive maintenance, but the noise test fails and it took up to three or four times to get a successful result. What can we do to improve this and get a passed result the first time?
