Viewing MSD Temperature and Vacuum Values on GC/MSD Systems Using OpenLab CDS

This Information Applies To: Agilent Single Quadrupole GC/MSD Instruments controlled by OpenLab CDS


Issue

Checking the MSD temperatures and vacuum reading is required when the instrument is pumping down or to check values during troubleshooting.


Resolution

In the Home tab, click the Method button. Enable the Instrument Status window and click the MSD tab to display the current values. Values include the source and quadrupole temperatures and quadrupole manifold vacuum pressure (Figure 1).
