Issue
Instructions for putting your LC/MS instrument into Standby mode after you have finished analysis.
Requirements
The LC/MS should have finished all analysis in the sequence.
Steps to Follow
From the top ribbon, in the Home tab, click Method > Instrument Status.
If necessary, in the Instrument section of the ribbon, click Take to acquire control of the instrument. In Figure 2, Take is already selected.
In the Instrument Status window, click the SQ tab.
Right-clicking in the SQ window brings up a shortcut menu. Select Standby to put the instrument into Standby mode. The ribbon on the SQ window will change color to indicate the change in mode.
When in Standby mode, the LC/MS is held in the following conditions:
