Overriding Solvent Delay with Agilent OpenLab CDS

This Information Applies To: Agilent Single Quadrupole GC/MS Instruments


Issue

During data acquisition, users may override the Solvent Delay state for the current run.


Steps to Follow

  1. In Acquisition software, from the Home tab, click Run Queue. See Figure 1.

  2. Access the Run Queue and select the run. See Figure 2.

    1. Run in the Acquiring State

      
    Caution: The selected run must be in the Acquiring state.

    3. Click Instrument Status in the top ribbon to open the Instrument Status screen, then click the Dashboard tab. Figure 3.

    4. Navigate to MSD window, right-click, and select Override Solvent Delay. See Figure 4.
       Tips: This option will be available after the sample injection.
