Issue
How to deal with a TapeStation Electrode Cartridge change is due warning message.
Background
The Agilent TapeStation controller software will notify users to replace the Electrode Cartridge after one year of use or after 50,000 samples, whatever comes first. Normally, one year is reached before 50,000 samples have been run. The instrument will still let you start a run despite this warning.

Alternatively, you can purchase the Electrode Cartridge (p/n 5067-5786) and exchange it yourself, as detailed in chapter 9 of the 4150 user manual, or 4200 user manual.
