How to Post a Question

Created by mnevill mnevill over 1 year ago | Last modified by kristen.sensabaugh kristen.sensabaugh 10 months ago

After you join the Community, you can create a post by clicking the + New button that appears in the upper right of the group page or on the forum page within the group.

Once you are on the new discussion page, complete the following:

  1. Select if this is a Question (if there should be an answer) or a Discussion (open ended conversation).
  2. Enter a Subject for your post. Try to make it as descriptive as possible, for example, "How do I replace the syringe on my Agilent 7693A ALS?"
  3. Enter the details for your post in the Description box. If a photo or video will help support your post, click Insert > Image/video/file and select the file you want to include.
  4. Add keywords to your post in the Tags field to help others find your post. For example, product type (Agilent 7890 GC), component information (sampler, detector), software details (OpenLab CDS).
  5. Click Post.
