MassHunter Excel Report Not Displaying All Compounds

I apologize for the delayed response.

In general this type of change is made to Excel templates by changing the filter for PeakID from only being equal to 0, which means the target was found, to being equal to 0 OR blank, since PeakID is blank if no peak is found. The environmental templates are a bit more complex though, with the larger number of sample, standard, and compound types. For detailed assistance in getting this particular template to meet your needs it may be best to contact your local service support team so they can find an appropriate resource to assist.

I would like to change the filter for PeakID equal to 0 OR blank like you mentioned in your reply. How do I change the filter? I'm new to Excel templates and struggling to find where the filter is stored.

To make this change you must remove the default template filter and then use a custom Excel filter. 

First, open the template by right clicking on the file and choosing Open. This will activate the MassHunter Reporting addins correctly. If you just double click to open the file they may not activate.

Then select the PeakID field and click the Advanced Properties tool. On the Table tab select PeakID, delete the current filter of 0, and choose Set Filter to remove the filter.

Then click on the dropdown button for the PeakID column, go to Text Filters-> and choose Custom Filter...

Here you can specify to show rows where PeakID is equal to 0 or is blank. You simply leave the second entry empty to specify a blank entry.

Then save the template. It should now report all compounds whether a peak is found or not.
