Problem in LCMS G6125B

Remove column and then run ACN to check that still peak is coming..

U can use union to connect lines..

I tried to inject ACN with two different columns, and I get about seven unknown peaks for run time 5 min, I think something contamination in MS, but How to confirm this error from MS?

But to confirm, you have to bypass column and run only solvent( mobile phase) to identify problem.

• Can you share instrument configuration?

When you talk about peaks, do you mean peaks in the chromatogram or background ions in all of the mass spectra.

• If they're background ions in the mass spectra, what are the masses that you see?
• If they're additional peaks in the chromatogram, are you running a gradient separation? 
• Do the peaks appear if you do a run without making an injection (run a sample without specifying a vial location, and the system will just start a run.)?
• Do the peaks change in area with injection volume?
• Do the peaks change in area, depending on the length of time between injections?

They look like chromatographic peaks, rather than contamination of the MS.  Can you share the spectra from each of those peaks?

Is this require cleaning ?, And s there cleaning procedure for ion source block and capillary?

Hello, Wenn die Verunreinigungen als Peaks mit Retentionzeit auftauchen dann kann die Verunreinigung nicht vom Massenspelktrometer sprich Quelle kommen sonder vom LC mit allen Möglichkeiten wie verschmutztes Fliesmittel (Wasser oder Organik), verdreckter Autosampler durch ehemalige Proben usw.
