Our G1313A Autosampler also has this problem "Transport Arm Locked" after changing the needle
Has anyone had this problem before and how was it fixed?
Thanks, in advance
Error 3044 means that "a previously issued command is still running and not yet finished". If you've cleaned the fan, could you confirm you have the proper connections?
When exactly this message shows up? I suggest you creating a post to get that question answered or directly calling Agilent Service
Hi Mina
Please advise if you are still experiencing this issue
Hi,
I have verified all my connections and yes the issue still exist.
Thanks for advising, do other errors show up in the logbook?
Please watch the movement of the sampler arm during initialisation:
- Is it shaky or jittery? If yes, turn off module and clean transport rods using IPA & lint free cloth.
- Which position/location does the arm stop at during initialisation?
- What is the first error that comes up in the logbook immediately after failing initialisation?
You can try a coldstart procedure by following the below:
https://community.agilent.com/knowledge/lc-portal/kmp/lc-articles/kp115.forced-cold-start-procedure
Then watch the initialisation again to see if there is any difference or if the arm stops at a different position.
