Hi, when I inject 1000 ppm( 100%) of sacrose ,I get this area 57367.
Is it normal to have only 5 number of area? Or I should have more?
I use RID detector.
Thank you

Hi,
It could be normal for your method. Have you tried to do a calibration and see if the response is linear?
Yes I have a linear response.
Thank you.
An excellent and quick way to check linearity of an RID is the Refractive Index Detector OQ/PV Test Sample (5064-8220). It consists of
• 5 mg/mL
• 10 mg/mL
• 15 mg/mL
• 25 mg/mL
• 50 mg/mL
Simply use a 2m SST restriction capillary, a flow of 1ml/min (water) and a run time of 1 min. Injection volume would be 2ul.
Thank you
