Controlling Multiple AriaMx with a Single PC

Issue

How to control more than one AriaMx with one PC.

Resolution

If you connect the PC and instruments using an ethernet cable, you will not be able to establish multiple connections concurrently. You would need to switch the ethernet cable between the different AriaMxs while ensuring the other end stays connected to the PC.
 If the PC and the instruments are part of the same Local Area Network (LAN) within a shared domain, you can access the instruments with one PC, one at a time. If you do not wish to connect your instruments to your laboratory's LAN, you can link the PC and the AriaMxs to a network switch hub. With a network switch hub, you are creating a small LAN comprised of the computer and the instruments.
 As with connecting directly to a single AriaMx, make sure that wireless networking on the PC is turned off. The wireless network can cause communication issues because the PC may try to connect to two networks at the same time.
