Issue
Compatibility of the AriaMx software with macOS.
Resolution
The AriaMx software is designed to operate exclusively on Windows-based operating systems. Agilent does not recommend or support running the AriaMx connected to a Mac.
Workaround
You could consider running the AriaMx software on a Mac with a virtual machine running Windows 10. This setup should enable the execution of the AriaMx software and might allow for the transmission of run data to and from the AriaMx instrument. However, it may be necessary to manually transfer the data with a USB stick to and from the AriaMx, depending on the virtual machine’s configuration.

Caution: Agilent does not assist with configuring virtual machines. Controlling the AriaMx with a virtual machine is not a validated or supported solution.

For the best experience and support, we recommend installing AriaMx software on a supported configuration as outlined in the AriaMx software system requirements. (Table 1).
