Access Agilent ICP-MS User Manuals with MassHunter 5.x

Issue

The user manuals for Agilent ICP-MS Systems for MassHunter 5.1 and above are included in the ICP-MS MassHunter Help and Learning Center. There are manuals for the software, hardware, optional software, and optional hardware.


Steps to Follow

  1. Access the Agilent Help and Learning Center via Start Menu > ICP-MS MassHunter Workstation > ICP-MS MassHunter Help (Figure 1).

    Alternatively, access through the ICP-MS MassHunter software by clicking the question mark icon (?) next to the minimize, maximize, and exit buttons in the top right of the window (Figure 2).

  2. Under Learning, click User Manuals to expand the manual topics (Figure 3).

  3. If you receive the error message: "You cannot use help because Help and Learning Center isn't installed" (Figure 4), while trying to access the ICP-MS MassHunter Help. The ICP-MS MassHunter Help must be installed from the Software Installation Media before you can continue.

    1. Log on to the PC as an administrator
    2. Insert the ICP-MS MassHunter Software Installation Media
    3. Browse to G7201D folder and double click ICPMassHunterHelpCenter.msi to install the Help Center (Figure 5)

    4. Follow the prompts to complete the installation, and restart the PC once completed.
