ProSize Report Has a Size of 0 bytes and Will not Open

Issue

After the PDF report has been generated in ProSize, the report file is saved with a size of 0 bytes and will not open.

Background

A PDF report can be generated from the ProSize software by clicking File > Generate Report. In the Generate PDF dialog box that appears, you can select what you would like to have included in the report and where you would like the PDF to be saved. The PDF will be generated after you click Generate PDF Report.

Resolution

• Which version of Adobe Acrobat DC version is installed? The required version is detailed in the operating system requirements of the ProSize ReadMe file.
• Where are you saving the file? If you are saving the file over a network, try saving the file locally.
• Is there space available at the location that you are saving to?
• Are other PDFs opening ok? If not, the problem might not originate from the ProSize software.
• Check that the file system does not have a write-once-read-many restriction.

If the listed advice does not help, try uninstalling and reinstalling the ProSize analysis software.
As a temporary workaround, try using a different PC with ProSize installed to export the PDF and report the issue to the local Agilent support representative.
