Invalid license problem

If you are unable to ping the instrument's IP address from the ChemStation PC then this would explain why you are unable to connect to the instrument.

Is this a 6890A, 6890plus, or 6890N? If it is a 6890N then you should be able to check the IP address of the GC by going to [Options]>[Communication] on the instrument's front keypad. If it is an older 6890 model then we would need to determine what model LAN card you have installed (model number should be on a sticker on the back of the GC near where the RJ45 port is where you plug in the ethernet cable. Depending on the model LAN card you might need to use bootp to assign an IP address or you might have the ability to store an IP address using telnet.

we have 6890N,the IP  address of the GC :10.10.172.121 and IP address of the PC 10.10.172.120

We've changed the cable many times but problem not solved and we cannot ping. after that we connected the GC to another PC use in DHA GC(7890B) after ping we got (sent=4,received=4,lost=0(0%loss) so we concluded  the problem not in GC it is in PC LAN card.(LAN card Internal in mother board)

The IT person  thought we must change the PC and install open lab in it.

 Is that conclusion correct? is there another solution?

I do not have enough information to jump to the conclusion that you need to replace the PC. It is possible that you are unable to communicate to the 6890N on this PC due to the NIC not being setup correctly, not necessarily because the NIC is defective. 

I would trust your IT person as they should be able to verify that then NIC is setup correctly and the PC and GC are on the same subnet. In the picture you included it shows that the adapter is reporting "network cable unplugged". Does it say that when the GC is powered on and there is a crossover cable connecting it to the NIC? If so, then there might be an issue with the RJ45 port on the NIC if it is not detecting that a cable is plugged in.

Hello,

A direct connection from the GC to the workstation with a crossover cable is the most stable connection you can setup. 

Here is a description of a crossover cable: Ethernet crossover cable - Wikipedia 

Most crossover cables will have the word "Crossover" printed on them or be labeled as such. Other than that, you can also look at the wiring at the RJ45 connectors and compare to the pinout in the Wikipedia article.

I asked internet  department to get crossover cables ,they modified straight cable to crossover cables. 

A good news after we connected crossover cables between GC and  PC the LED remote lighted and open lab soft wear  connected with GC,then  we injected dry gas sample and now GC OK.
