Hi Martin. I have the same problem. I don't know how to manage the group repeating so we can have different compound name on chromatogram lighted in gray.

The compound multiplier field in IR was added in CDS 2.7 to allow reporting of that value from the method per compound. You can back calculate that multiplier value from the compound amount and compound concentration but will need to take into account any other sample dilution factors, sample multipliers, and sample amounts used in the concentration calculation. Below is a custom calculation that will back calculate the compound multiplier for %mass calibrations where the dilution factors are used as multipliers. You really need 4 calculations to cover all calibration and dilution factor types. You should not enter 0 for the sample amount when using %mass calibrations as your concentration values will not be calculated.

If you CDS 2.7 the compound_mulitplier is present as an IR field. This screenshot below is from CDS 2.7 it shows the field in IR and CC.

One option would be to stop using mass% and simply do the compound_cocentration/sample_amount calculation in IR or custom calculator.

I will still need to show a mulitplier that will be needed to change my amount in ug in concentration expressed as PPM (ug/g).

I am not using any dilution factor for now. Only one mulitplier for this calculation who is doing well with the % mass since the formula is the same for all compound.

One other question, it looks like you are using 10 as the multiplier for all the compounds in your table. Why not just place 10 in one of the sample multipliers 1-5 for all the injections and set the compound multipliers back to 1. Typically, the compound multiplier is used when you need to apply a different factor to each compound for something like standard purity.  In your version, you can get the sample multiplier as I detailed previously.

you're right. I will use the multiplier 1 to avoid this 2.6 version problem. Very good idea. 

It works perfectly. thank you again for your help. 

The only problem I have, it is when I print the method process, we can still see the multiplier at one. I don't know how to take the multiplier in the injection list and incorporated into the method process. 

I still it can be good to go in 2.7 to fix this. 

Hi Martin, do you know how to replace my Avg, SD and RSD order. I want to have Avg first and RSD at the end? 

I didn't found how to do that.

It has to do with the order that you add them to the table. Last I tried, adding them in the order I want them did the trick. I recommend removing RSD and SD, pressing OK (so it registers as a change), then adding SD and RSD back in (in that order).

Have you try it? It seems that I don't have the privilege to do so.
