i decided to change the source according to the table but i am confused.

there are two different codes in manual. Do you have any idea about what are the differences between 
source with purge fitting (G8043-67400) and
source assembly (G8043-67505)?

Are you using nitrogen purge for system.

Generally,  source life is 3 years.

"Thank you so much for this!  The purge is new...I do not see that step in the users guide after replacing the source - it just to reinstall and to check the energy values and adjust the gain if needed.  Is there additional instructions for purging I need to read up on? "
