Seeing a error pop up on masshunter 12

This error has been happening when I click certain LC control modules.  For example if I right click and try to purge the pump.  The details are listed below as well.

  • Hello  ,

This is a known issue if Acquisition has been pinned to the Windows Taskbar and run from there in MassHunter Acq Version 11.x and later. This is due to the OpenLab integration and the need to launch through Control Panel to include all links to Projects and the instrument configuration.

Creating a Desktop Shortcut from the Control Panel is the best way to have a way to launch acq outside of the Control Panel.

It is possible to pin a desktop shortcut made from Control Panel to the taskbar and launch from there, but after launching it will leave that icon inactive and you will have the actual acq icon there as well.

Was this helpful?
