we using masshunter 10.0 and interrogating with nist, we have a problem: NIST opens but does not search for the mass spectrum .
AUTOMATIC SEARCH on is activated. We don't know what the problem is. We have installed and uninstalled NIST and Masshunter and it remains the same.

You will not be able to open MassHunter .d data files directly. You will need to extract a spectra in qual and then right click in the spectrum and choose Search Using NIST MS Program...
If you do this, does it send the spectrum over? If you go to the Names tab it should show the spectrum and the data file it came from.
If the autosearch is not working, can you manually search by clicking on the Go button?

Just above the Names tab there is a green Go button. That will search the spectrum in NIST.
Are you using MassHunter Qualitative Analysis to extract the spectrum and send them to NIST?
Are the NIST versions of the libraries installed?
