Manuale injection and infinite "acquiring" status with openLab cds

Hello to everybody.

I have an HPLC 1260 infinity II with openLab CDS, with manual injector.

Unfortunately, it happens to me that at the end of the runtime of an injection, the instrument goes to the "idle" status but the injection file stays in the "acquiring" status for an infinite time, without ever going to the "completed" status. Thus the only way I have to do another injection is the "aborted" function but in this way, the file for data analysis is not generated. Please help me to solve this? I am going through the manuals now but I can't figure it out....

Hi Nadjan, here is the requested info:
The instrument was installed May 2023, and only completed and processed the injections performed on the day of installation with the technician.
I joined in December, and have little historical memory of what happened before that.
I am sending you some screen shot with the method settings ( consider that there are only the pump, detector modules, the 'injector is manual, there is no column oven).
You will be able to verify that the stop time is set in the pump module, and that in the detector the option "as pump/injector" is checked

In addition, I have also sent screens of the startup settings, both for a single injection and for a sequence consisting of a single blank.
In both cases, at the end of the stoptime set in the method, the system returns to idle (green) while the file trace remains in acquiring (blue) for an infinite time, forcing me to stop with the "Abort" function. You could see this in the attach file named "at the end of injection the system is in idle status...."
Other screens show the errors the system gives when I try to start the data analysis on both the aborted trace and the sequence that it considers completed ( even though it was still stopped with the abort function) but the data file is not generated.

I hope you can help me because I am navigating in the dark.

Check the flow of how you operate the manual injector. Manual injector is in the Load position. Submit the injection (single or sequence). Perform injection from the syringe to the manual injector loop. When in the RunQueue you see Acquiring, trigger the manual injector to the Inject position. Let the run finish. Transfer the manual injector to the Load position. The system is ready for the next injection.

Does it help to resolve your issue? I might have one more idea, but it is more time demanding to test.
