Agreed. It's a tungsten lamp, which is fixed inside the optical unit. The lamps lasts very long. Most RID failures are caused by incorrect handling/insufficient housekeeping anyway. Always flushing both sides of the cell and all tubing with water, followed by IPA, is probably the best advice.
