Hi,
I have an issue 1100 HPLC. The retention time is shifting. I changed the station pump, the needle, the needle seat, the column, the seal rotor, and the guard. The issue continues. Some ideas and recommendations.
Thanks

Hi Carol,
When you say RT is shifting, is it longer and constant, shorter and constant or moving back and forth?
What is your pump model and are you running a gradient?
Checking the flow rate as previously mentioned is a good idea but if your pressure is steady under isocratic conditions, then it a good assumption your check valves are okay. At that point, you can still have a leak so checking the flow will confirm whether to check for a leak or not.
