Ion source chamber doesn't want to open after venting the MS

Which model MS you have..Share detail..

Did you open vent nob also to remove vaccum..

Did you follow above procedure..There is one more screw in back...

I don't remember using it so probaby not

Check those area where i circled in color

I have checked the indicated area and everything seems to be fine

Then last, before service call, only one thing is remaining that you are able to pump down system again or not.

Close vent knob..Side plate already not opened so pump down system and if pump down successful then after one hour again vent and try to open side cover.

Did you hear vaccum breaking sound after completion of vent cycle during vent knob opening..

And if still problem then onsite check require and have call local agilent support for onsite service...

While venting I could hear the sound of air.

Once again I will try to turn on the instrument, check the vacuum and went once again after one hour. If this won't help, I'll call the service
