When attempting to install a 0.53 mm column into an FPD mounted on an 8890, the column bottoms out before it reaches the correct insertion depth per the column installation tool. The tool that was sent is about 137 mm long, which is what I have seen listed on Agilent column installation documentation before, but the column can only be inserted about 130 mm into the base of the detector.
