I´m facing a Silicium contamination in ICP-MS analysis, I have used a 7800 ICP-MS.
I have digested my samples with HF, HCL and HNO3 and neutralized it with boric acid, after the analysis I have Silicium CPS has increased around 30%.
Have you faced this contamination? How do you schedule autosampler cleanings? Do you uses a specific acid to do it?
