SF6 reaction gas in 8800

Hi all, I am setting up a method on our 8800 to measure Rb-Sr isotope ratios using SF6 reaction gas, and would like to know if pure SF6 gas is used, or a mixture in He, the purity, and who would be the preferred supplier? I am in South Africa, and often order from Linde Europe for specialty gasses.

Hello,

Regardless of how you use it. You have to keep this in mind. If it's 3rd cell gas that is been use it needs to be with Mix of Helium. See the following. I know it's working with ICPMS 8800 or 8900.

The purity is in the picture below.

Thank you for your feedback. What would be the criteria to use as 3rd or 4th gas, as I see most gasses can be used as either?
