Hello, our 4210 MP-AES has not been used for a while. When it was recently turned on, an oxygen sensor module fault poped up on the screen. And plasma is off. I am soliciting for suggestions on how I can troubleshoot this problem.

What is the exact error message you see?
Check all connectors on the O2 sensor module, it's located under cover on the right side of the unit. Disconnect and reconnect them.
If doesn't help call Agilent support.
Hi Evans! I would like to know if you ever figured out what could have caused the error with the oxygen sensor? We just had the same issue in our labs, and have got a new sensor. We are however hesitant to use the instrument again before we we have an idea of what may have caused it. Our suppliers suggested that it could be the filter on the nitrogen generator which needed to be replaced, but they were not sure about this.
