ICPMS 7850 Autosampler SPS4 Z axis collision error

Hi,

I am using ICPMS 7850 with autosampler type SPS 4. I got an error saying that autosampler Z axis collision error and the probe is resisting to go to downward position. I shut down the autosampler and turned on and it's remain same. But the probe is conveniently moving in X and Y axis direction. I would like to ask for any suggestions to calibrate or trouble shoot this issue.

Hello,

Please turn off the SPS4 and inspect the belt Z and check the movement of the Probe up and down. It should move freely up and down without resistance too much. If not, then you need either repair onsite or you order the Z belt for replacement if the belt is damage.
