"Cannot create data access object"

Just to confirm, are these issues occurring in MassHunter Quant? And if so what revision and what type of instrument data are you trying to analyze?

This one could be difficult.  2 things come to mind.  First make sure you are not saving the folder of the batch into another batch folder. This will void the .b folder and failed to read correctly.  Go see if you can into the drive  X:Agilent\ICPMS\1\DATA\name of the batch and go see if the batch is located into the correct folder.  Also check if the file .bin is there. (quant result)  If this is cause by a crash batch.  Check if the .d file are present and create a new batch from scratch.  

1. Go offline data analysis
2. Create new batch folder
3. Import all samples (scroll to the current batch folder and import .d file)
4. Import data analysis method from previous working batch.
5. Process the batch and check if it work and create the bin file. 

There is no acquisition method but a data analysis method.  Give us more details of the error if possible.
