Has anyone ever had fluid back up into and fill up a portion of your neb gas line? It always seems to happen when the instrument is off overnight. Doesn't seem to be hurting anything, and doesn't happen during the run, but it is really odd. Only happens once a week.
I would suggest checking the back pressure of your nebulizer. Maybe is blocked or partially blocked and the liquid cannot get easily through and goes back to the gas line. Do you have this setting activated on your MassHunter? You can find it under the sample introduction settings.
