How do I see the spike recovery % in mass hunter? we always get blank columns.

We filled the "spike amount" column with the concentrations, we selected the spikes as "spike" in sample type, and "spike reference". However, when we add these columns to the pane, they are empty, we don´t know what else to do. The recoveries are not there.I attached pictures. There are three spike columns, but we only spike one concentration, only for certain masses (left). On the right: the empty columns we get in the online analysis pane. no matter what we do, we never get the recoveries.  If anyone can help us we are very grateful, thank you!!

  • Hi Mercedes,

Do you fill in the level in the calibration table? Not only for your calibration standards but also for your spiked sample?

On the same line as your spiked sample (sample type; spike) you have to give a number 1 in the level column (menu calibration) at least if you have given the spike amounts in the 'spike 1'  column, as you have done in the image.

    Hope this helps.

Spike Reference is your sample without spike

Spike is the same, but spiked, sample as the reference
