700 sereis ICP Pilot Mirror Part

Dear Community,

We have an Old ICP 700 series and sensitivity low, and we replaced Pre optics windows and wanted to replace pilot Morror M3. We ordered Part Assy mirror, pilot, (M3) 2010076890 and received the item as per part number. However the part inside packing is different.  Our supplier is unable to clarifiy and confirms part delivered as per part number is correct. But we know its a packing error from Agilent. Can you please help us.

whereas received part as below

Can you please advise on this.

thanks and regards

  • Hi,

i´m not sure but it could be the correct part.

The pilot mirror assembly consists of a flat pilot mirror mounted on a
bracket designed specifically for the polychromator. The pilot mirror (M3)
is used to transfer the converging light from the pre-optics assembly to
    the entrance slit.

Why do you think, that it is necessary to replace exactly this mirror?

Before changing the M3 it would make more sense to change the M1 or M2.

    Best Regards
