Clean the materials

Hello all,

How do you clean the plastic issues and the materials for ICP-MS analysis?

I usually clean with HNO3 but I would like the opinion of you.

Do you have any reference or study about It?

    The added tutorial give some good suggestion about cleaning plastics but more important clean lab work and clean lab environment.

    HNO3 cleaning is good. Sook it  overnight in diluted HNO3 e.g. 5% and rinse the plastic the next day several times with ultra pure water.
