EM tunning ICP MS 7800

Hi,

have you (by mistake) changed the monitored mass settings in the startup settings?

Check if it is set to 80 for the EM settings.

If this is correct, you probably have a issue with the platin shield of the torch. If this shield has no (or a bad) contact, you will loose approx. 90% of your sensitivity.

Thank you for your answer. The were not changed during the occurence of the problem, but we tried to play with it a litle tring to increase the sensitivity, then returned it to basic settings.
