5900 ICP-OES Plasma has gone out after 20 min.

Hi,

one of our customer are using 5900 ICP-OES. Plasma has gone out after 20 min. All SIS checked and replaced with new one. Gas box, RF Oscillator and power supply working is fine.

Please advice.

Hello, Can you provide more information, such as the error message that's displayed when the plasma is shut off? Just a guess but I would check your exhaust, if you do not have a functioning exhaust…

Can you provide more information, such as the error message that's displayed when the plasma is shut off? Just a guess but I would check your exhaust, if you do not have a functioning exhaust system it's possible the instrument is overheating and shutting off the plasma
