Hello,
Please try replacing the torch. If that does not resolve your issue, please contact Agilent customer support to begin the process of opening a repair service order. It is possible that your waveguide has failed. Have a great day

Dear John,
Thanks a lot for your help and support. Actually we have already replaced the Torch. BUT how can we check the waveguide ?!!
Thanks & Regards
Only Agilent service professionals should replace a waveguide. This is for safety reasons. Have a nice day
ok we dint have a problem with that. BUT the service engineer will come on 20. November and the instrument out of service two weeks.
as we are in remote Arae (phosphate Mine) so please could you show me how to check it and test it at least so that we may order it and get it before the service engineer visit.
I'm the Analytical instruments specialist in our department.
Thanks & Regards
Hello
-MP4200 turn off
-remove plasma torch
-remove plasma viewing mirror
- insert torch/ flashlight
-Visually inspect magnetron anode
- Good condition or Damaged Anode(discoloured/ melted anode)
Only Agilent service professionals should check a waveguide. This is for safety reasons.
