Hello,
That error usually means that the EM grating motor has failed and will need to be replaced. You should call Agilent support for an onsite call.
As for how can you continue working without the FLD. I assume you have other detector(s) on this…
Hello MikeL ,
Just wanted to post what we discussed during your call with the support center so if anyone else sees a similar problem they will have some things to try.
There can be issues with copying and pasting fairly large amounts of information…
Recently, we connected the column (CP7429) to TCD and FID using a Y splitter. However, there is no signal response on both TCD and FID after manually injection of the calibration gas (containing H2, CO, CH4, C2H4, C2H6 in CO2). The carrier gas is Ar.…
Dear Colleagues, apologizing for frequently wondering but I first faced this problem. GC produces a signal without turning on the FID Detector!? Please look at the attached photo. After turning on the detector and then conditioning the column while the…
For many FID methods, 10-20 Hz data rate is sufficient unless you're doing a fast method of some sort. You need enough data points to define the peak correctly and not get any spectral tilt. Typically 15-20 points across the peak is enough.
i had faced this troubleshooting before
it is probably a software problem.
first close masshunter and double click ( remove masshunter process)
open the soft again and try to create another method with same parameters it should work
also try to…
When performing the Eukariote Total RNA test on the same chip we had some samples with very degraded RNA and one sample with what seems like good quality RNA but the software failed to give a RIN value for that sample. Is there a way to still measure…
Hello AGILENT family,
i have a few questions on the analysis of Pb in blood samples.
am failing to get the right concentrations of the QC sample 8ppb instead it’s reading 0.08 ppb and at the same time it’s also showing overange (0.08o) even when my…
I am a user of an Agilent 7900 ICP-MS. It has been working fine since last month, but today (Oct 13, 2022) the software was not able to connect to the instrument. When I try to connect the MassHunter software to the ICPMS by going to settings > mainframe…
