Issue
When a sample name starts with zero, the leading zero disappears from the exported data (Figure 1 and Figure 2).
Background
Removing the leading zero is expected software behavior for well and sample name data. If a well name consists of letters, the software will treat it as text and if the well name is a number, then the software will treat it as a number. When a numeric well name, or a well name with a mixture of numerals and letters has a leading zero, the zero will be removed. The leading zero will be removed from all export file types, including Excel, Text, and LIMS.

Resolution
There is no workaround. Avoid starting sample names with a zero. If you still want to use a sample name starting with zero, then it will be necessary to manually add the leading zero to the exported file.
