Clear calibration during process doesn't delete old data

Hello,

I must be missing something in the description. I see 2 injections marked cal std so why would there not be 2 points in the calibration curves? I was wondering if there was an issue clearing the calibration when the peaks are not found but when I tested this for non EIC data it seemed fine. I will do some testing with MS data and extracted EICs. Unless I am able to replicate the issue, you will probably need to open a ticket so we can look at the actual result set in question. We cannot share data in the community site.

 Hi Martin. In fact, we have 4 calibration solutions. Each solutions are a mixture that contains a total of 60 target compounds. No compound in duplicate. If you check the curve of MTBE-EIC, we have 3 points coming from different injection date which make no sense since I did the clear calibration at the 1st Cal Std line injections.

Marie-Pascale was very helpful in Agilent Canada. We think it's some method corruption. We recently updated to 2.7 version. I don't know if might be the reason. Thanks again. 

Quick question here for you Martin. Do you know if the future openlab CDS 2.8 will incorporated the power of 1st and 2nd derivatives integration algorith like we see in masshunter (agile1 and agile2) ? 

At this point, I do not have any final release notes for CDS 2.8. I know they are adding some features to the integrator, but I do not have the full details at this time. I doubt we will see a new integrator algorithm in addition to the Chemstation and EZChrom currently available.

Is this a normal result set or self-assembled? Is the amx method(s) in the result set folder? If the amx method is present copy the file to another location, change the .amx extention to .zip, and unpack the file. You should see a reportableinformation file, is that file empty or does it have the method data inside?

HI Martin, I took some injection to the initial Result set and I click on the "add selected injections to new result set" as I did often in the past. 

Usually it went well. 

I will try what you have asked me to do and come back with the result.

OK here is my response. 

I confirm that for this particular folder, it didnt have the acquisition method for an unknown reason. I have checked other folders date and the acquisition method is there. 

I am confused because I did the process and result id the same way. 

SO I did transfer the process method in the problematic folder and I had the Reportableinformation. I reprocess to see if the problem is fixed but it was the same. 

It must be something I did different for this folder but I don't know why. 

Have you ever seen that ?

When I tested on my system all the acquisition methods are copied over from the original result sets. Likely on your system there was some issue when creating the new result set in this case. You will not be able to copy the method into the folder, as I would imagine the manifest file is not pointing at the method in question. Are you combining results sets that have the same acquisition method?
