Sequence is pausing on missing vials.

The tick box needs to be ticked to ignore missing vials.  Sounds like your 1290 is doing what it should do,

Ah, so that's in Masshunter Walkup.  I was actually referring to the option directly in the OpenLab software.  If you right click on the Sampler in OpenLab Instrument Status and select the top menu item, "Control", you'll see another option to ignore missing vials.

Its possible that you might need to make sure that the options in Walkup and OpenLab.

Its really confusing that in Walkup the option is to "Stop on missing vial" and in Openlab its the other way around "Ignore missing vial".

Hope that is a little clearer.

Yes, as Andy Wright mentions the option to continue on missing vial needs to be enabled in both WalkUp and the host data system. If you have that option set correctly in both WalkUp and the host data system and it still pauses or stops, then you would need to check the logs to see if it is being caused by OL not being ready or by WalkUp and then troubleshoot further from there.

Thanks for your reply, you are right we are using Masshunter Walkup. I tried in both ways like ticking-off and ticking on openlab and Walkup itself but still he is pausing the sequence without skipping to next vials. Anyway thanks for your time and feedback I appreciate it.

Thanks for your reply I already mentioned to Andy Wright  what I did but its not happening at the moment. we have another 1290 with Mass hunter Walkup but without mass spectrometer and its working fine he is skipping the vial without pausing the sequence. It could be installation issue or something with Mass Spec but I am not too sure. Anyway thanks for your time and feedback, I appreciate it.
