QC Setup in Quantitative Analysis

How do you go about setting up a QC sample for recovery calculation if the concentration is different than one of your calibration samples? I'm using Quant 10.2.

If I don't use the same Levels (e.g., QC1) for my QCs as my Calibration samples (e.g, 1), I don't see the QC sample type in the concentration setup tables.

Thanks in advance,

Peter

  • Hello  ,

I am observing this behavior as well in the method editor. But it appears that as long as you add the level name in the method concentration setup and it matches to a QC type in the batch table, when you exit and analyze the batch it will automatically be changed to a QC in the concentration setup table.

Another way to update this would be to use the Calibration Curve option to Create Levels from Calibration Samples. Though depending on your batch/sequence/worklist setup you may need to re-enter the concentrations for all levels.
