Sample ID in LIMS Export

We’re trying to use Sample ID as the unique identifier for our samples to use in our LIS export. However, Sample ID is not exporting in the LIS export, even though we put it in the Worklist. It’s automatically making 1, 2, 3, etc instead of what we entered. Is there a way to get Sample ID to show up in the LIS export? Also, is there a way to show it in the Batch Table in Quant? It isn’t an option under “Sample” to add as a column. We’re using Acquisition and Quant 10.

  • Hello  ,

Sample ID is one column from the worklist that is not mapped into quant. The other two that are not mapped are Method Type and Wt/Vol.

If you are not able to utilize one of the other existing column then you can add a User Defined column and it will be mapped into the corresponding User Defined column in quant.

Here is a full list of the columns that can be added. The worklist column must be named exactly as shown in the first column and must be defined correctly as a Number or Text.

  • Thank you! We will use Barcode instead of Sample ID to fix this issue. This is very helpful.
