MSD Chemstation (E.02.01.1177) is saving our files under ANSI encoding, but we need them to be UTF-8 to export into our LIMS.

What exactly are you trying to export to LIMS? E.02.01 is out of support.

The epatemp.txt file for the offline data

That file is created by epa.mac in the gcmacros and msmacros folders. We can produce the txt file or a csv file format.

Yes, the .txt file works for us, the problem is for some reason the files are saving it under ANSI encoding instead of UTF-8. It looks like the files used to be saved automatically under UTF-8 encoding, but something changed with the method. 

What version of Windows do you have it loaded on?
