Hi,
If you mean function "Search using NIST MS Program..." is greyed out and does not work. Check the menu "Action" for same function.
If it not work try to reinstall the NIST Software first or just using the Masshunter Search Engine to search the NIST Database.

Are you able to launch NIST from Qual? In your screenshot that is not clear if that was done first. If you launch NIST from a shortcut or the Start menu then the Switch to Caller options won't be active. But once you send a spectrum from Qual it will become active.
If you are not able to access NIST from Qual you can try the following.
First, with both Qual and NIST closed, run the Restore Qual Settings tool, found in Agilent->MassHunter Workstation->Qualitative Analysis B.08.00 Tools under the Windows Start menu.
Answer y at the prompt to clear user settings.
Then find the following file and delete it
C:\NISTxx\MSSEARCH\AUTOIMP.MSD
Where xx is the version of NIST installed.
